I was super overwhelmed by life and I was trying to do to much at once (as usual). But I am back and blogging again and writing again and I may go on hiatus from time to time but here we are.
Let's jump right in!
It's February... Can you believe it? I thought a good way to get everything going again would be to to a February #TBR.
1.The Elfstones of Shannara (The Shannara Chronicles) // Terry Brooks
I started reading this series because of the new show on MTV. I am currently on page 214, not quite half way. So far, I haven' been that impressed. The show was decent. It was well written and put together. The scenery was good. The acting was fairly good but not stellar. I am trying to read ahead and not watch too much of the series. It's not on Netflix right now which is probably one of the reasons I haven't gotten further in the series.
I am finding the book a little draggy, I think I should've started with the first one.
2. Ice Like Fire // Sara Raasch
I absolutely loved the first book in this series, Snow Like Ashes. I haven't been able to get into this one in the same way yet. I am about half way through and hoping I get a better feeling further in.
3. The Mortal Instruments :: City of Bones // Cassandra Clare
I maybe the last person in the world who hasn't read this but, I want to watch the series and I thought I better read the book first. Can you tell I'm trying to watch more television?
4. To Hold a Bridge :: An Old Kingdom Novella // Garth Nix
This is actually a series of short stories with a short Novella that relates to the Old Kingdom Series. I just finished a reread of the Old Kingdom Series and I wanted to read this too. I also read Clariel and Nix mentioned that he is writing some new pieces for Lirael and Nicholas. I wanted to be all caught up before then.

5. Carry On // Rainbow Rowell

6. A Court of Thrones and Roses // Sarah J. Maas
I finished the Throne of Glass Series a few months ago so currently this is the only book by Maas that I haven't read yet. I started reading it a few months ago but I didn't have my own copy.
7. A Thousand Skies Above You by Claudia Gray
A Thousand Pieces of You was one of my favorite books of 2015. I am really exciting to delve into this exciting sequel.

So that's all for now! I am probably making a couple of changes to the blog soon. I want to add some Pop Culture, maybe some cooking, fitness and other sections. For sure I am adding an Audiobooks section. Right now I have the site setup as a blog but I am thinking about moving to an actual website with a landing page and more pages.
Don't forget all of these links are clickable and I am an amazon affiliate so anything you buy on Amazon using my links gets me $$$. Which I need right now since I am currently unemployed.
